About Youser

At Youser, we believe that the most useful, usable and enjoyable solutions are those that are created by putting their users first.

In our work we pay particular attention to two key elements. The first is a thorough understanding of the user's needs, desires, abilities and constraints. The second is frequent user involvement in the evaluation of design prototypes at different levels of detail throughout the design process. These elements allow us to quickly narrow the design space and focus on the most appropriate design solution.

Our Services

Youser can help:
to evaluate prototypes or existing solutions with YOUR users to pinpoint potential areas of weakness and propose alternative solutions
to determine and/or refine needs and requirements of your users
to elaborate a powerful and effective design
throughout the whole solution lifecycle from conception to release, to ensure that your solution truly meets the needs of your users.

Youser can teach:
your team (UX, dev or IT) or class
how to evaluate interfaces with real users (the entire UX-evaluation process, from scenario design to presentation of the results)
how to measure UX, usability and accessibility
about the theoretical foundations of UX, usability, accessibility, Cognitive Ergonomics and Human Factors.

Lifecycle

How we view the lifecycle of a solution and the methods we use at each stage:
  • Ready to go?

  • Observation
  • Interviews
  • number two 2

Of course, this lifecycle is iterative - sometimes it may be necessary to go back a step (or even 2!) to create a truly useful and enjoyable product.

I am passionate about user experience because it is complex to predict how a product will be used. It requires considering not only the user of the interface, but also the context in which the interaction occurs. Indeed, testing phases often reveal problems that were not anticipated during the initial design phase. This highlights the crucial importance of evaluating a product with those who use it.

Psychologist in cognitive neuroscience

In a constantly evolving technological environment, people remain the only constant. With my expertise in cognitive neuroscience, I design interactive experiences that are intuitive and human-centred. By combining psychology and design, I create interfaces that are based on our natural perception, emotions and interaction patterns.

Managing director and UX research
PhD in Cognitive Ergonomics and Occupational Psychology

I founded Youser with the objective to link scientific research with industry and practice. I have experience in planning and conducting human-centred design projects and user evaluations at various stages. My goal is to ensure that users have been understood and that the sociotechnical systems in which they work meet their needs. I am also a strong advocate for the accessibility of interfaces for elderly or disabled users.
